Remembering Bob Fouts a year later. He was a good friend, husband and father....I send warm regards to all the family on this anniversary.

DEAR DAN,
I AM A 75 YR OLD NATIVE SAN FRANCISCAN AND AVID 49ER FAN FROM CHILDHOOD. I ENJOYED LISTENING TO YOUR DAD ANNOUNCE SPORTS FOR ALL CITY TEAMS. TO ME HE WAS THE BEST. I KNOW IT IS APPROACHING A YEAR SINCE HIS PASSING. HE HAD A VERY BIG INFLUENCE ON ME COLLECTING 49ER GAME USED JERSEYS. I NOW HAVE ONE OF THE BEST COLLECTIONS IN THE USA ESPECIALLY FROM THE '50'S AND YOUR DAD WAS A BIG PART OF THAT.
I KNOW YOU WENT TO ST. IGNATIUS, I WENT TO RIORDAN AND ENJOYED WATCHING YOUR HOF...

Mr Fouts took time out of his life to announce Marin County High School Football Games. What a thrill for players and fans to hear him on Friday nights annouce a game and on Sunday one would hear him at Kezar

It is a great gift to have someone we cherish so long. My mom passed away in May at the age of 98-1/2! Always a great 49er fan.

What a joy to have known Bob Fouts. He was a a gentleman, a curious world traveler, with a wonderful sense of humor and honor. I send my condolences to Julie and the whole family for the loss of this great man in your life.

My condolences to his family,friends and fans. Growing up his name was part of the popular culture of sports. How soon they forget. Good to know he had a successful long life.
