Not sure what to say?

I knew Rob from the time he was in the fourth grade. He was always an adventuresome lad, whether sledding down a snow covered hill and breaking his arm, making explosives with his chemistry set in the basement of his parents' home, or spending a long summer on a working ranch in Wyoming, where he learned about Mountain Oysters and the care needed when a horse rears on its hind legs and tosses its head back into the rider's face. Did we ever find Rob's teeth?

He was always...

When I married into this family over 17 years ago, I had absolutely no idea what I had just gotten myself into. It was full of teasing & joking but it also gave me an opportunity to become very close to two men that have helped make me the man I am today, Bob "Wilbur" Hendrix & Bob "orval" Harris. Wilbur will always be "Uncle Wilbur" to me. There were many things he did that influenced me to be a better man, but one in particular will be with me always. After the devastating loss of my...

P.S. I bet my nephew Seth is the only baby in the world to arrive at the hospital in a Kal Kan cat food box lined with aluminium foil with a heat pad and receiving blanket, which was proudly invented by Bob (Wilbur) moments after Seth was born on their bathroom floor. I'm sure there must have been some duct tape involved too.

First of all my sincere sympathy goes out to Seth, Maggie and all of Bob's family, extended family and friends.

I had the pleasure of having Bob (who will always be Wilbur to me) as my brother-in-law for about 15 years. For those that don't know the inside story, when Robert (Bob) married into our family, there were already three Roberts (Bobs) in the immediate family. He and my late husband Bob, hit it off immediately and we all were constantly together as they were always working...

Bob's dad and Tom's dad were first cousins. We always referred to Bob as "Cousin Robert." We remember fondly the long-ago days when he was a young man and would come over to our rural property to work on cars (an interest shared with Tom). You all are certainly in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.

My Uncle Bob, my dads' (Bob) best friend and Wilbur of Wilbur & Orville Wrong to many who knew them and how things went when the 2 Bobs worked togeter. Bob was a devoted father and a great uncle. Your whole family loves you and will miss you.

Anyone who ever met Bob was touched by his genuine love of people. He was kind and thoughtful. He was fondly known as "Mother Hendricks" to many in the industry, because of his dedication to the GAFT tournament. His name brings a smile to our faces, he will be truely missed.

Maggie & Seth

I was so sorry to hear of Bob's declining health and eventual passing away. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Bob was an awesome man and I'm thankful I was able to get to know him.

While I only knew Bob for a short period of time, I was struck by his ability to maintain such a positive upbeat disposition in the face of some serious health issues. His ability to stay positive was a great lesson for me and those he came in contact with each day.
