Bob L. Herd

In 1979 Bob's company hired me from TJC Drafting to do some mapping for him, I'll never forget those days and Mr Herd showed me some sub-surface mapping techniques. I was offered a full time job when I was close to graduation, but I declined and went with Sun Production and Expl in Dallas. In hindsight, I always wonder what I left behind. Thanks Mr Herd! I just happened on this and was saddened to hear, but what a great gentleman!

My condolences to Mr. Herds family and friends. I had the honor and pleasure to work for Herd Producing for 10 years and working with who i feel was the best of the best people. Working for Jeff and Bob for those 10 years was the most rewarding and educational of my entire career. I had a lot of admiration for him and what he accomplished.
