I met Bob when I was putting together a team of sales representatives for SuperStar(C) socks a division of Very High Quality socks made by my company Rudin and Roth. My Dear Dobber, Rest In Peace. My love to Kim and Sal his daughter and Son in Law. I am thinking of both of you. Kim, I loved him. After working for him for 22 years, I can tell you he was a gentle giant and I miss him so much. He was a great boss.

A great friend and a great man. Bob was humble,generous with his time and caring. I will miss him greatly.

The Stewart's hearts go out to the Lanier family on the passing of Bob Lanier. I recall fond times playing sandlot basketball with Bob long before he became an All-American center at St. Bonaventure University and later esteemed in the NBA. May God rest his soul and continue to bless his family.
