Not sure what to say?

For me Bob was a teacher, mentor, friend and parent. My life has been so enriched by his friendship. He helped me see that life was not as scary as I had first imagined. He and Tom gave me support and love when I needed it most. Through their friendship I was introduced to so many people and events. Bob's love and support has made my life rich and his legacy will continue to live on inside of me.

All of us at North Lake College were fortunate to have Bob as a colleague. His dedication to the art of teaching and mentoring was apparent in all that he did. His creativity and skill served to inspire so many students. I extend my condolences to Tom and to Bob's family. He was a treasure and an individual who touched the lives of so many, helping us all to be better as a result of knowing him.

Bob Nunn was one of those rare artists who mentored so many young artists with grace, wit and brutal honesty. He was well known in Deep Ellum at the Continental Gin Building where he maintained a studio for over 30 years as the Godfather of the CGB. He could often be found holding court in his studio dispensing advice to young artists and laughing heartily. Bob was beloved by everyone who knew him, and his beautiful spirit will be missed. I feel so very lucky to have known him and his partner...

Bob was an outstanding art teacher at H. Grady Spruce H S. He worked to get scholarships to area colleges for his deserving students. The art community has lost a top notch person! Condolences to his partner.

He was my mentor when I was younger. I enjoyed our Friday lunches at Jays. My thoughts and prayers go out to Tom.
