Mr. Rogers took a personal interest in helping me as a young reporter at the University of Wyoming. I loved one of his basic teachings-he would flunk anyone who had a misspelled word or name. He taught, "if in doubt, look it up in the dictionary or phone book." Years later when I was on a work assignment in College Station, I brought him a big box of Utah apples which delighted him.b
