Not sure what to say?

Bob and I were active in local/national Young Democrats in the1960s getting our start in politics. He was smart, funny, committed and thought tactically which I enjoyed, We disconnected in the late 60's but I still remember him fondly and respectfully.

Susan, RC and family, Bob was a political giant but had a gentleness that drew people to him. God broke the mold when He made Bob Slagle, He was truly one of a kind. May you find peace knowing that he will be resting in God's never-ending love. Take care and know we are praying for you all.

Bob was a dedicated, hard worker. He loved the law and worked to the very end. Bob just had a Probate hearing several weeks ago. He will be missed dearly. Susan and the family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Much love

Bob was a political giant who treated adversaries and teammates alike. He, and his style, are sorely missed.

A great Democrat and stalwart progressive, who served his Party with unrelenting dedication. I first met Bob as a YD in 1967.

Bob was a former chair and respected DNC committee member when I went on staff at TDP in 2001-2003. His dedication to Democratic values for over half a century was an example of the role of government and political influence utilized for the greater good of all people. May you rest in God´s never-ending love.

Condolences to all the family My prayers and thoughts are with all of you

Bob was an American Patriot in the true sense of the phrase. He will be missed.

The Chairman was the most influential man to me aside from my father.
