Condolences, Gary. I was so blessed to meet both your parents, and know how special they were to you. I have fond memories of the first time I called and got to experience Bob's dry sense of humor when I inquired if he was Robert Steffen, married to a "Viola" Steffen, my half sister..... LOL

Gary I'm so sorry for what you are going through, loosing a parent is so difficult. I think often of our childhood and our parents - it always comes with a smile. I loved both your mom and dad. Warm thought and prayers for you.

Bob and I shared a love for baseball and jazz. He was reluctant to begin a show on KMHD; he didn't think he had the right voice for it. I encouraged him to go for it, and that his voice would be appreciated as accompanying the tasteful music he shared. Vi, Bob, I, and many others enjoyed his 25 un-interrupted 25 years of success. We called each other "coach". Robert,

I so miss Bob's Sunday morning show. We had an affinity for same music, and he was a vicarious friend. Bye, Bob.
