Bob ?Steve? Frank Stephenson, age 88, of Smyrna, TN passed away Monday, July 1, 2013. A native of Palmersville, TN he was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Henry and Loice Pearl McClain Stephenson. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Glover and Ruth Glynn, and his brothers, Ralph, Louis, and Almond Stephenson.

Visitation will be from 5:30PM to 7:30PM Wednesday with a Masonic Funeral at 7:30PM at the Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Smyrna. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 1:00PM in Morgan Cemetery in Palmersville, TN with full military rites.

Mr. Stephenson is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara Lillian Cotton Stephenson; daughter, Linda Diane Stephenson Cazel and her husband Matthew of Smyrna, TN; son, Kevin Mark Stephenson and his wife Violetta of Toronto, Canada; grandchildren, Brandon (Angela) Bentley, Allison (Ronnie) Bentley, and Oskar Sendecki and his wife Alexsandra Sendecka; great grandchildren, Nora Elizbaeth Bentley and Sean Sendecki; and the love of Bob and Barbara?s life, their dog, Sir Lancelot.

Mr. Stephenson was a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ. He retired from the United States Air Force and Tennessee Air National Guard having served in both the European Theatre and Pacific Theatre during World War II, The Berlin Airlift, The Korean War and the Vietnam War. Mr. Stephenson later retired from the United States Postal Service in 1987. He was a proud member of Sam Davis Masonic Lodge #661, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite, a member of the Murfreesboro York Rite Bodies and served as Grand High Priest for the State of Tennessee in 1984, a member of the Sam Davis Eastern Star and also a member of the Al Menah Shrine Temple in Nashville.

Brandon Bentley, Matthew Cazel, Robert Waldron, Harold Scott, Johnny Ross, Bob Harper will serve as pallbearers.
