Not sure what to say?

Mr. Tucker was a dear friend of the class of 1966 of Catoosa. In Chorus we had a great time learning about music, and some of us still remember some of the songs we learned, whether we liked them or not! Chorus with Mr. Tucker was the most fun class we had (or I'm speaking for myself here.). I wasn't in band, but my sister, Caryol Johnston Smith) was in band from the grade they were eligible, through graduation. She too had very fond memories of being in band, and getting to ride the bus...

Bob was a great teacher and will be missed by the Catoosa Schools and me. He wanted me to come to his nursing home and lecture the staff about feed him oatmeal. And, if they didn't stop giving him oatmeal before bedtime, he instructed me to use physical force on them. I wrote him in my last book, The Green Sinkers, and he was so happy to be part of that edition.

My father John Caldwell and Bob worked together at Seismograph Service Corporation until 1984 when my dad retired. The Tuckers lived about 2 to 3 blocks away from where we lived. I went to school with his son Randy. We also saw them at the company picnics. And the company anniversary party that was held at the fair grounds. To those that survive him I am sorry for your loss. I enjoyed knowing Mr Tucker as I would come around and sell girl scout cookies

Bob was the most kindhearted, caring person I ever met. I worked with Bob at Catoosa Middle School. Always smiling with a positive attitude, and always helping others, he offered to share a ride to work with me. I lived in Coweta and would meet him every morning in Broken Arrow to ride with him to Catoosa. I really appreciated the ride, but dreaded the days we had to take the Jeep. That vehicle was wickedly cold in the winter! Even after he retired, he would show up occasionally to...

I met Bob at the gift shop at St Anne´s. He asked to see the big family Bible I handed it to him. In his cantankerous way, he said, "I can´t read it." So I reached for a large print Bible. He grumbled, "Why would you hand me a large print? I can´t read it because it´s wrapped in cellophane" I looked him straighten the eye, and said, "I just assumed old man, old eyes!" Peggy came over and burst out laughing. I knew Peggy from the library. I had no idea she and Bob were married. We shared a...

Bob was a gentleman. He went on many home visits with me many moons ago when St Anne Church was operating our Ministry of Compassion. He had a good dry se
nse of humor. May Bob rejoice with the angels and saints.
