Not sure what to say?

I attended Cornwall High School with Bob between 1978-1980. He and I were lunch table buddies and tennis partners. I'll always remember his impression of Humphrey Bogart and his genuine warmth and kindness...truly a light in this world.

I am so sorry to learn of Bob's passing. I worked with him for five years at Supermarket News and always found him kind, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Also quite funny. He was a gem of a guy, and I offer my condolences to his family and friends. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

So sorry to hear about your loss. We enjoyed spending time with Bob last March in California. His attitude and personality made for a wonderful time.
Our sincere condolences

I loved Bob. He was a rare and trusted office mate, friend and confidante to me. I'll always remember the joking, the endless laughs, his sparkle and warmth, his easy ways, the intelligence, kindness and sophistication that informed his whole personality. The world is poorer without Bob. I'll miss him terribly.

The news of the loss of this great person is heartbreaking. My friends and I idolized him in high school, CCHS. He was always so nice to us, so so funny and larger than life. Bob will always be a superstar and loved by all who met him. My love and condolences to his family and his loved ones. I graduated with his brother Jon, my prayers are with you, I'm so so sorry.

Bob and I started as co-workers in the same year. We did not work together but we always had time to talk. He had the most interesting and funniest stories. I would often ask when he was going to write his memoirs but he said it was too soon. Bob was a very nice guy and will be missed.
