Bob was considered the best looking person in Alameda Grade School and Grant High! He had a great sense of humor! Blessings and love to all.

I met Bob when I was five years old. That was a long time ago, but we kept in touch over the years. He was a wonderful person and a great friend and I will never forget him!

I lived next door to Bob and his mom in NE Portland many years ago. He was several years older than me. One night I was in the front yard playing catch with my dad and Bob taught me how to throw a curve ball. I was about 9. The next year he taught me how to throw a drop ball, pitches that served me well in my Little League career. So sorry to learn of Bob´s passing. What a lovely caring man he was! He was such a good sport, and I remember fondly how enthusiastic he was to let me tag along to a football game in Corvallis. Fondest thoughts to Karen and all three "kids."
