Not sure what to say?

Dear Bob,

You will never be forgotten.
Thank you for your wonderful contribution to the "Johnny Cash" sound and to the world of country music!

Thank you for allowing me the awesome opportunity to meet you and perform on stage with you!

Your family will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

Until we meet again,

He was agreat guitar player and singer. I remember him singing Nobody, s darlin but mine in Den Haag the Netherlands. I saw Vicky playing and singing in the early eighties in Harpel the Nethelands with the Sullivans. I wish the whole family, s a lot of strengh.

It was 1972 and the Johnny Cash show was coming to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (Saratoga is in upstate New York not far from Albany, the state capital). The show featured Carl Perkins, the Carter Family, the Statler Brothers, Cash's wife June and, of course, the Tennessee Three. I was already a fan of Bob's guitar playing from the television show and how he refined the sound originated by Luther Perkins. Many thousands of fans attended the show. No one was disappointed.
Over the...

He was a legend on his own. One of the most charismatic guitar players in the world. I can't stop listening to his unique style. When he played "Folsom Prison Blues", my hairs stood on end. I wished he could have lived on. R.I.P.

I was very honored to meet Bob, and had no idea that I would meet another one of Bob's friends in Germany, who played guitar with Bob, and now plays with me. Rest in peace Bob. Your sound will go on, as long as Klaus and I are around. God Bless you and your family. Ed Grace, Klaus Karni, and The Country Fellows.

I have very fond memories of Mr Wooten and his music. I grew up listening to Johnny Cash and the Tennessee Three. I play guitar and I always tried to play his music with the boomchickaboom beat. I love the music and I will miss it very much!! He is standing beside Mr Cash again doing what he did best. Playing that telecaster! We will miss you Bob R.I.P

Bob was our family hero and pictures of him cover our walls in our home in Germany. The sound of his tele was all that matters, even I noticed years ahead I only liked artists who played it like Bob. During my cancer treatment I had a picture of him on my phone because my brother thought it would bring luck. To my brother Bob is his absolut hero. So heres a picture of my brothers tele that Bob signed on the pick up board. In our thoughts we stay with you during these special times.
