Not sure what to say?

Bob Young also narrated and was given top billing in the late 1961 Studebaker dealer film "Studebaker Today".He interviewed workers at the South Bend plant getting their reaction to the "clean up campaign" Studebaker thru then-boss Sherwood Egbert undertook. It was very obvious he was a gifted speaker and had a voice you could listen to for hours.

I first worked with Bob in Radio, at WINS & NBC News in the '70's. . then in 1980 we both join our colleague Virgil Scudder on Madison Avenue, at the major PR firm, Carl Byoir & Associates, later taken over by Hill & Knowlton. So we worked together through 2 decades, well into a 3rd, and I knew him through 4. He was a talented man, with a unique personality and perspective.

I last visited with Bob 3 years ago, when he was hospitalized for an injury...then we lost the connection....

I became News Director of WABC-TV in September 1968 just as Bob was leaving the station to join CBS. Everyone had wonderful things to say about him and I would have loved to make him part of the Eyewitness News team...he is remembered with a picture in my book "Eyewitness Newsman" Albert T. Primo

I remember Bob from his days at the old Carl Byoir & Associates firm. A wonderful gentleman.
