When we were living in Montana, Bobbie took up caligraphy and was always looking for quotes to practice on. I had collected several over the years and we got the idea to put them in a book of illustrations opposite the quotes. The one below was one she particularly liked and reminds me to this day of the person she was always trying to become. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her.

Wow. . . what a fight our girl had! I met Bobbie when she was Social Worker at Maryville Nursing Home, and what respect I had for her caring for our folks. She was a mentor to many, helping residents as well as the staff members. I loved her stories, and did we have some laughs in her office with Liz English. . . wow, can't believe she is gone, though know she is doing the same caring and helping in heaven. I was so sorry to see that Bobbie had passed. I worked with her briefly in the early 1980s, and knew as soon as we met that she had a unique spirit. My sympathies to family and friends.

In 2003-4 a half percent interest in the Sutherlin Property Group was donated to College Bound Funding. After years of write-offs allowing for decent gains, the tax amounts on the property became larger than the dividends. So it was donated to CBF which didn't have to pay taxes on the gains. Later the property interests began to be sold off and larger checks rolled in to College Bound Funding. A rough estimate would be between $45,000 and $55,000.
