TAZEWELL — Bobbie Cleo Reed, age 92 of Tazewell, Tennessee, passed away April 2, 2017, at Claiborne Nursing Home, with her loving family and friends by her side. Bobbie Cleo was saved at an early age and was a member of Howertons Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Bessie Reece Barnard; Father, Tyler Barnard; Husbands, Woodrow Wallen and Dr. Fred Reed; Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Sally and Chester Davidson of Tazewell, TN; Peggy Jo and John Seals of Monroe, Michigan; Nephews, Johnny Seals, Monroe, Michigan and Bill Davidson, Tazewell, TN.
Cleo was a LPN at the Claiborne Nursing Home for many years, upon retiring, her favorite pastime was working in her flowers, gardening with Sheila. Her most favorite was sitting on her front porch watching her little boys: Stephen and Lukas Thomas and Little Girls Ryley and Sophia Gilbert play in her front yard.
She is survived by Daughters and Son-in-law: Carol and (Tom) Myers of Harrogate, TN; Sue Goins: Tazewell, TN. Son-in-law: Roger Cox of Michigan. Granddaughter: Robin and (Bob) McHenery of Plant City, Florida. Great-grandchildren: Minetti Logue, Keith Logue and Jacob Hill. Nieces: Janie Woelmer and Robyn Seals of Monroe, Michigan. Special Cousins: Charlene Green Givens of Knoxville, TN; Lannie Reece of Michigan. Cleo had special friends in her life that she called upon as family. Special Daughter and Husband Sheila (Steve) Honeycutt and Girls: Brittany Nunn and Lindsey Thomas. Special Care Taker: Rita Manning. Special thanks to Dr. Carroll Rose, Dr. Brent Neal, Claiborne Nursing Home and Staff, Suncrest Hospice Care and Harrogate Baptist Church.
The family received friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Coffey Funeral Home with funeral service at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial at 11 a.m.Thursday, April 6, 2017 in the Irish Cemetery. Minister: Rev. Steve Barnard. Music Barbara Hatfield, Randall Massengill and Living Water. Pallbearers: Steve Honeycutt, Brad Gilbert, David Brooks, Bill Barnard, Jackie Barnard, Doug Barnard, Johnny Barnard, Steve Green, Henry Massengill and Olen Massengill. Honorary Pallbearers: Dr. Carroll Rose and Roger Cox.
