When on the scene of a house fire or other disaster, Chief Slayton was always approachable and receptive to our disaster workers. He was concerned for the welfare of the victims and accommodated us whenever possible. Thank you for sharing him!

i am so sorry about bobbie death i will never for get him i use to go with him and his nefu lynn tatum to the races in daytona back in the late 70- early 80 i will never for get bobbie saying back in 1978 watch out for that guy dale earnhart he beleved he was going to be someone to recken with and boy was he right i know that same year we wear coming through basset va.a house was on fire and know one around bobbie nocked the door down to if there was antone in the home and had to show the...
