Barbara Ann "Bobbie" Smith, 82, of Pensacola, FL, passed away peacefully Friday, February 7, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience.
Bobbie was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. It is fitting that she was born on Valentine’s Day because she embodied love in its purest form. She loved her family fiercely, gave selflessly, and touched countless lives with her kindness and gentle spirit. Her love was felt in the simplest yet most profound ways - specially in her Kitchen! She was the absolute best at baking and took immense pride in her home cooked Southern meals! Her food said “I love you” without words.
Beyond her warmth and kindness, Bobbie was as strong as a Steel Magnolia - graceful yet unbreakable and resilient in the face of life’s challenges and hardships. She always held on with quiet strength, never letting life’s storms diminish her spirit. She was a force.
Bobbie lived her life to the fullest. In her earlier years, she was an avid gardener, reader, tennis player, volleyball player, and a skilled bowler. She could hula hoop for hours without missing a beat and even took up belly dancing. As the years passed, she found joy in cards with her dear friends. She always looked forward to their friendship, laughter, and the cherished girl’s time. Those moments became a treasured and much needed part of her life.
Bobbie was a Valentine’s gift to this world - a woman who lived fully, loved deeply, and carried the quiet, enduring power of a Steel Magnolia. She will forever be missed, remembered and loved. Love Never Dies.
She is preceded in death by her sons, Tony and Jeff Smith.
Bobbie is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Bob Smith; her loving son, Joel Smith (Wendy); her beautiful grandchildren, Christy, Tyler, Noah and Daniel; as well as her great-granddaughter, Madison.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Mike Mashburn officiating. Please join the family afterwards for a Celebration of Life, at The Sanctuary 1905 Event Center, 716 N 9th Ave, Pensacola, FL 32501.

Aunt Bobbi was a very kind and loving person. One of my fondest memories was when I spent the day with Aunt Bobbi on my birthday. She did my hair dressed me up and made a cake for me, I think it was like my 4th or 5th Birthday. Aunt Bobbi will be greatly missed. We love you and will always remember you!
