Bobby Ray Akins

Suzy and Sherry, I am so sorry to hear that your beloved father has passed. Lisa H. and I have been trying to find/contact you girls for some time. I know how close you were (suzy) to your dad and I especially remember that he was a sweet sweet dad to you both. Hearts full of love and peace, always.

Ray was a very warm and caring person, eager to help others. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and loved to tell as well as hear a good joke, and when he learned to email it opened up a whole new world of communication to Ray.

Ray shared his life and wisdom with many people, always with an encouraging word, and let everyone know he genuinely cared about them, both through his words and gestures. I don't remember ever seeing Ray when he didn't have a smile to share.
