Bobby Ray Green, Jr. passed away on September 1, 2023. Bobby
was born in Saginaw, Michigan on September 28, 1974, to
the union of Bobby Ray Green and Deborah Williams. He was
affectionately called “Head”, “Chip”, and “Bobby Junior”.
Bobby was a loving child and always had a smile for all those
around him. As a young boy, he had a ready-made best friend
through his cousin Rosalyn, whom he affectionately called “Rah
Rah”. Bobby idolized his Uncle Chucky and tried hard to keep
up with his big cousin Michael. Then, when his little brother DJ
was born, he quickly took on the additional role as his protector
and trusted confidante.
Bobby accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age
and was baptized at Zion Missionary Baptist Church under Dr.
Roosevelt Austin. He participated in Sunday School events and
other youth activities.
He graduated from Saginaw High School in 1992 and it was
during this time that he found a love for ROTC. Bobby moved
to Birmingham, Alabama and married Connie Jordan in 1998. To
further his education, Bobby earned a Bachelor’s Degree from
ITT Technical Institute in Project Management and was given
the honor of Salutatorian in 2013.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Deborah Menefee;
his brother, Dilanjan Green (LaKeisha Woods); his wife, Connie
Green; two children, Camarisa (Mouk) and Calvin; grandchildren,
Rodraquez, Jeremiah, and Christopher; a niece Mikeayla Green;
great nieces, Sydavia, Syri’yu, and Sa’hanna; special aunts, Ella
(Emery) Aldridge, Vivian (Willie) Lee, Valorie Green, and Dorothy
Brown; his Uncle Tony (Cheryl) Lenior; many other relatives and
friends.
Bobby was preceded in death by his loving father, Bobby Ray
Green; his great grandmother, Elizabeth (Big Momma) Green;
his grandparents, Floyd and Flossie Burns, and Charles and
Katherine Aldridge; and other special uncles, aunts, and cousins.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Green family in this time of bereavement. May the memories shared help you cope through this difficult time.

Bobby, or “Head” as I so affectionately called him was my nephew/son. He has always been special to me as I was to him. I’ll always love him and will miss him terribly. I looked forward to seeing him whenever he made his way back to Michigan and having him staying with me. He knew he always had a place to lay his head when he arrived back home. I’m so sorry I can’t be there with my niece, Debra and my nephew DJ. Please know that I’m with you both in spirit and you’ll always be on my heart,...
