Donna and I would like to offer our condolences to you and your family in this time of sorrow. I worked for Deacon for about eight years from 1988 to 1995. This opportunity has provided a memorable experience for me. Deacon was the same person in personal life and business. His honesty, integrity and compassion for people and employees will always be remembered. He always recognized my efforts and treated me with respect. I will never forget an experience that I witnessed with him and...

I was saddened to hear of Deacon's passing. I was a basketball and baseball teammate of his at Oak Ridge Military Institute in 1958. Deacon was a gifted ball player and a very friendly and likeable person. We shared living quarters at Oak Ridge with other ball players and he was a joy to be around. I counted him as one of my good friends. He will be missed by many. May God comfort his family.

To the Jones family , we only knew Mr. Jones from buying a few cars from his Kia dealership in Goldsboro , but the short time we knew him was a pleasure . Losing a loved one this time of year brings memories back of knowing Chuck Ianotti and remembering his family losing a child . It is all truly heartbreaking . May your family find peace in knowing that Mr. Jones is in a better place .

I have known Deacon for over 40 years, and all during that time my respect for him grew. As a former automobile dealer, I had the utmost respect for his ethics, and the high regard he held for each and every one of his customers, me included. His dealerships reflect his leadership, and I'm certain his family will continue that same strong customer satisfaction tradition. My prayers go out to Faye, Ken, Dale, and Tina.

As a fellow classmate and basketball teammate, I was saddened to hear of "Deacon's" passing. His earthly accomplishments are amazing, but what is more amazing is his devotion and service to God which he will now be enjoying for eternity. May the Lord bless and strengthen his family daily.
