He was a great man and helped me through alot of hard times... I wish I had gotten to say goodbye too him but didn't... Well I know that he is watching all of us that he help in his time and hopefully we all lived up to the standard that he set for us.... Again I am truely sorry for your loss...

Betty, I know this is late, I just learned of Bobby's passing in the Semper Fidelis news letter. I'm from Kannapolis. He was one of my Drill Instructors at Parris Island. He inspired me to go back in the Marines after we meet in a grocery store where I was working. He was a great Man and Marine. I know you will miss him. God Bless You and your family.

I owe my success as a Police Officer, leader in my community, and as a man to Sgt. Maj. Lynch. I am so sorry I missed the services. I wish to pass my condolences on to his wife and family. Sgt. Maj. Lynch lived his life as a leader and as a Marine. He will always have a special place in my heart and my mind. I always ask myself when faced with a tough decision, "What would Sgt. Maj. think about this?" SEMPER FI

Betty, I was so sorry to hear about your loss. I pray that God grants you peace and strength. You are a blessing.

Great Marine and Great Instructor!!!

I owe my success as a Marine to you and the lessons you taught me. It took a few years for the advice to sink in to my think skull, but once it did it stuck. I have told countless recruits, Marines, and Corpsmen about you and how I could only hope to be a fraction of the Marine you were. You will continue to be an inspiration to us all, and your story will live on. I will visit you upon my return. ARRUGAH SgtMaj!
