Bobby was born on March 5, 1935 and passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019. Bobby was a resident of Cedar Bluff, Virginia at the time of passing. He was a Richlands High School Class of 1953 graduate and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by: His Wife, Geraldine Miller McGlothlin Special nephews of the heart, whom he helped raise: Eugene Childers and wife, Mary of Paintlick, VA; and their son, Hunter Childers Derek Childers of Richlands, VA Special nieces and nephews, Frankie Fox, Betty Carr, Joe McGlothlin, Jim McGlothlin and Johnny McGlothlin Two step grandsons, Aaron Bullion and Ronnie Mitchem Funeral services for James Robert "Bobby" McGlothlin will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, VA with the Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Claypool Hill, VA. The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
