Didn't have the pleasure of meeting Bobby, but Wayne was very engaging!! We stopped in for lunch 02/16/2017. In 2 words,, LIFE CHANGING!!!!!!! Tradition is highly regarded at Louie Mueller BBQ, as it should be! With attention to a more modern pallet BBQ! We will most definitely be back! Thanks again Wayne and all the friendly staff

I remember as a kid going to Muellers with my father -- he worked for the then Missouri Pacific... Later when Bobby's father (another pit master) passed away, Bobby took over and put his own imprint on the operation...
Was sorry to hear of his passing, but can see that the family has a deep bullpen of others to take over...
Bobby cannot be replaced, but he left things in good hands...

Miss those days when I worked for Missouri Pacific and came to Taylor Tx. Ate at Muellers more times than I can count. Even skipped traditional breakfast so I could show up early at Bobbys and eat brisket and beans for breakfast. Really hated to have Bobby pass away. Can still see Louis sitting on a stool over by the cash register. Remember Fred asking if I wanted gravy with my cue. Hope to get back down there and have some more of that great food.

I must say this was one of the best atmosphere for eating BBQ My son and I have been traveling the state of Texas on the weekends, breaking the state off in sections to hit the 50 top spots of BBQ in Texas Monthly an this will rank around the top. This master chef passed his cooking on to his children and they continue to do BBQ the right way. Will come back again, just for the food & atmosphere as we continue our travels of Texas.
