I'm very sorry to hear of Bobby Osborne's passing. He had a full life and brought much joy to his fans. I loved his and Sonny's harmony and instrumentation from my earliest memories as a child to my adulthood. I regret I didn't have the opportunity to see them in person. All of the family has my sincere sympathy.

Whenever I become aware that another Marine has answered his last muster, I am reminded by words in our Marines´ Hymn that tells us, "... the streets of Heaven are guarded by United States Marines." Stack arms and rest your pack, Marine, and then take your final post. You still have important work to do. Semper Fi, and carry on.
