Jo, Just learned he had passed (what happens in Greensboro and High Point rarely makes it to Winston-Salem). When I started in the Life Insurance Business Bob was already a legend. Brant Snavely ran a contest once and came by my office to ask me if I was excited about the contest - what were my chances. I said "no" I did not think much of it. In the first two weeks Bob (Mr. Parrish to me) had already done more than I expected to do all year. Not much chance I would catch him in 8 weeks. ...

Bob Parrish meant so much to my family. We will always cherish the fun, loving memories we have of him and remember the powerful witness he was to so many. Blessings to his family.

I was blessed to know Bob through Lay Renewal Ministries. He helped me to learn aspects of leadership and was patient enough to receive questions that were most likely a bit odd as I tried to learn. His humility and graciousness were things I tried to carry forward. The conversations we then had over the years that followed were a great blessing.
