Dad met every stranger with a smile.
He loved to play golf in his earlier years. He played in many leagues in Lansing and in Jackson for a couple of years.
He first took me to the golf course when I was 8 years old. We played every Sunday morning at Sycamore Golf Course in Lansing. He loved the game. He and 3 of his best friends that he worked with at the Post Office would drive to Callaway Gardens Georgia every winter for their 'golf getaway week' to get out of the cold Michigan...

I worked down to the horse track and that is where I met Mr. Patrick, He would always stop at my gate to see how I was doing and talk about the horses. The world lost another Good Man Today , But Heaven gained another Angel .
