Bobby Wayne Pearce was born 12/29/1942 in Brownwood, TX to Harm J. Pearce & Ruby Mae Smith and passed away 11/08/2011 in Mesquite, TX. Bobby served 8 ½ years in the Unites States Army, in which he served 2 tours in Vietnam. After the Army, Bobby joined the police force. Bobby was a fighter who believed in doing for his country and his family. He will be greatly missed. Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Vicky Pearce; children: Bobby Wayne Pearce, Jr., Amanda Renee Shannon, Samara Joyce Pearce Harper; grandchildren: Christopher, Cody, Cassie, Callie, Nathaniel, Luke, Destiny, Kady Ann and Caleb; siblings: Donald, Johnetta and Patricia; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Joann Cheetwood and sister, Caroline. Visitation will be 6-8pm Sat. 11/12/2011 and 12-8pm Sun. 11/13/2011 at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 9:45am Mon. 11/14/2011 at DFW National Cemetery "Lane A". In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
