M I MET BOBBY SHORT , HE WAS CATCHING A PLANE TO NEW YORK. FROM DALLAS FORT WORTH AIRPORT. I WOULD SEE HIM IN NEW YORK AT THE CARLYLE HOTEL WHERE HE PLAYED COLE PORTER. HE IS MISS BY ALL AND ME.

BOBBY SHORT ,WAS THE BEST, HWHE DID COLE PORTER, I MET HIM AT DFW, TEXAS, HE WAS ON HIS WAY BACK TO NEW YORK. WHAT A GENTLEMENT, AND A TALENT.

Hope you are playing and singing a great tune on Gloria's arrival!

The Cafe just isn't the same Bobby. I miss you.

I was a great fan of Bobby's. I actually saw him at The Bottom Line in 1976 in a departure from his usual venue at the Carlyle. A class act. My dad turned me onto him a few years earlier when PBS televised him and the Massachusetts Youth choir in concert at Carnegie Hall. I still remember him and them singing "Night and Day" by Cole Porter. SO UPLIFTING it made you glad to be alive!! Well remembered.

You will be missed. I enjoyed your music on Heat if the Night.

Rip thanks for the memories and your music
