we met in mandan nd. we were getting something to eat after his last set. he sat at the table across from me. no other patrons were in the diner above the club. he asked if her could join me. we visited as we enjoyed our late meal. we met a few more times when he performed a few more times. a true person.

a friend of mine

Bobby was my favorite when I first heard him in 1960. My room was covered with his pictures. I´m so sorry he has passed. He will always live in my heart. I still listen to his songs everyday.

The best did he live in Saddlebrooke

Godspeed Bobby, and thank you for sharing a part of your life with us, the wonderful music memories, and some of the anthems of my youth, and beyond. Unforgettable.

Just found out you left us five years ago. I can't believe you're gone. I've loved your music all my life and was just looking up chords to several of your songs when I found your obituary. Thank you for so many great songs and memories, my sweet teen idol. You'll be in my heart always.

Wow, what a career, and for the music you brought to all of us, we thank you BV!!!!
