Bobby Gene "Spoon" Weatherspoon

BOBBY GENE WEATHERSPOON "SPOON" Age 67, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2003. Formerly of Clinton, KY, and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. He retired from U.S.S. Broadway Side in 1989, was a graduate of Riverside High School and was a member of Green Valley Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father William Weatherspoon, 3 brothers William, Arnelle, and Thomas, 1 daughter Tina Weatherspoon, and 1 step-son Deron Moten. He is survived by loving mother, Lorean Weatherspoon of Clinton, KY; 2 brothers, Willis Weatherspoon of Gary, IN and Frank (Linda) Weatherspoon of Hickman, KY; devoted fiancee, Alfreda Sherrod; 3 daughters, Linda Moore of Joliet, IL, Bobbi "Chee-Chee" (Michael) LeBron of Indianapoilis, IN, and Tammy (Al) Nolan of Griffith, IN; 1 step-daughter, Yolanda Moten of Gary, IN; 1 step-son, Errol (Jessette) Sherrod of South Bend, IN; 3 sisters-in-law, Johnnie, Algernon, and Brenda; 24 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 aunt, 1 uncle, and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held in Clinton, KY. Services entrusted to Smith-Bizzell & Warner Funeral Home "Your Golden Rule Funeral Home," 4209 Grant Street, Gary, IN.
