Bobby Don Whetstone

Dr. Whetstone was one of my favorite education professors at Birmingham-Southern College. He inspired me to be a teacher! Condolences to his family in their loss. Adeana Curry

I met Mr. Whetstone through our board involvement with the Alabama Humanities Alliance. One day, he asked me about BAMA Kids, Inc.,the youth program that I direct in rural Wilcox County. He and his wife would make a contribution each year. We will always remember his friendship and generosity.

Oh, Bob... What a wonderful person you've always been. Everyone at Birmingham-Southern College who's known you through classes and work have Loved you dearly. You will be remembered by more people than you could ever imagine as you've touched our Hearts and Souls with your Kindness and Caring of others. God Bless you Eternally and may your Family find strength in knowing that they'll be with you again. Always!!
