Bobby Yarbrough

Bobby and I have been life long friends. From the days at Phillips High School, our time at the Naval Air Station in Birmingham, and the accelerated training program in New Orleans. Then we went our separate ways during college and then back together again as family guys in the Eastwood Jaycees. Even with my several moves over the years, we managed to stay in touch and see JoAnn and him at the beach occasionally. We will remember our last face-to-face at the grand opening of the National...

Barbara and Russell, I was so sorry to see the obituary for Bobby. I have many great memories of the many times he took us to Phillips and had the radio on Shelley the Play Boy, and we would sing and listen to the music we loved all the way to school. I remember he was a great big brother and never complained about having to take us to school. Great memories of a great guy.

I hope it comforts you to know that your grief is shared by all of us who knew your dad. He was a wonderful man and he will be sorely missed.

Our hearts are saddened to learn of Bobby´s recent death. Our prayers are asking God to comfort your family as only He can do. We have fond memories of being next door neighbors for over 25 years. Life is a precious gift!
