Bobo Faulkner

I've spent a few days re-reading the hundreds of emails and letters we exchanged between 1997 and 2014 and counting myself damn lucky to have known her. And I bless her always for her love and devotion to my wellbeing often at the expense of her own.

Her last email was November 4th, telling me that she was unable to come to Australia on a planned visit because of her chemo schedule - but it would end in a month and she anticipated being in SF for Christmas. She described her situation...

With Bobo's passing, a bright light has gone out of this world. She was a member of the board of directors of the British Benevolent Society in San Francisco, striving to help others less fortunate. I trust you will meet your dear friend (and mine) John Yates in heaven, Bobo. Your grace, charm and friendship will be missed by your many Friends in the Bay area.
