Not sure what to say?

Dear"Cooch",
I recently saw the memorium of your husband in the Hartford magazine. Your maiden name was not listed, however, so many pieces of information pointed to you. It has been nearly three decades since we first met in the halls of Hersey. You would remember me best as "Worms" and my roommate, and still dearest friend, "Cil". My sympathies extend to you and your family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

As a frequent peruser of the Courant, I was shocked by the notice of Boom Booms passing. He was to me as well as a multitude of other CHSACA coaches the epitome of what a caring newsman should be! He represented his profession and the Courant well at all times.

My deepest sympathy to his loved ones.

Sincerly,
Coach Joe Folino,Staples(Westport) Golf Coach & CHSACA President 1990

Dear Jill and Family,

Jill, Kay, Paul and Gerry, It is many years ago, through Paul Jr., that I knew you and your families. I am deeply sorry for the loss of Bo, I remember him as a kind man. May time and prayer heal your loss.
Sincerely Mary

To Jill and the Kolinsky Family,
Thank you for giving us Bo Kolinsky.
I can not tell you how much he added to the Doc Hurley Scholarship Foundation and our basketball classic. He was such a great friend to our lives. Last year I lost my Mother in September and he helped me to get through the hard times for my father and I. We all miss him so much. My heart is so heavy when I think about him not being here. We dedicated the 29th Annual Doc Hurley-Courant Basketball Classic to his...

21 YEARS AGO I MET THE MAN OF MY LIFE. 19 YEARS AGO WE SAID "I DO", FOR BETTER OR WORSE. WELL, IN THE PAST 19 YEARS WE HAVE HAD SOME WORSE - BO LOST HIS PARENTS, I LOST MY FATHER AND WE LOST A CHILD. BUT THE BETTER OUTWEIGHS ALL OF THE WORSE. I COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR A MORE LOVING, GENTLE AND CARING PERSON THAN BO. THE SUPPORT THAT I HAVE RECEIVED THE PAST 2 WEEKS SHOWS THAT I MADE THE BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE ON JUNE 23,1984. I WANT TO THANK MY FAMILYS - THE KOLINSKYS AND THE BIANCUCCIS FOR...

Dear Kolinsky Family:

I am very sad to see Bo passed away. I will never forget him when he called my house to ask my father if he could interview me being as a deaf golfer playing national tournaments. He wrote a really nice article about me in 1996. He recently wrote an article about me last july of 03 when I qualified to make the 2004 USA Deaf Golf Team. He just have a lot of respects for all the athletes. I will never forget who you are Bo!

I never worked at the Courant but I was fortunate to work side-by-side with Bo at an occasional game [it must have been a big game if Bo was there :)] and to help Bo with the football record book. He was always supportive, positive and generous with his time and his vast knowledge of HS sports. I will miss him at the games and on the phone.

Bo Kolinsky...a special person to all who knew him in the world of high school athletics and a very special friend to me and my family.

I have many great memories of Bo but one especially stands out! It was a Gold Key dinner and the priest that was to give the opening/closing prayer did not arrive and Bo asked if Father Saunders who was seated with me would take his place. That night Fr. Saunders passed away but his closing blessing was special to Bo and i share it with...
