Not sure what to say?

I still do think of Bonnie. I remember one time she got a word wrong on a spelling test. She was devastated. I considered myself very smart but not so dedicated as she was. Her accomplishments are astounding and reflect the person she was always, even in 3rd grade when I knew her well.

Bonnie is remembered. Most especially I want to share this message with the family. While the immensity of her loss will never go away, I hope you find comfort in knowing how she was important in so many lives and her love of all children. I was honored to be her friend. Danielle Laraque-Arena

I was Surgeon-in-Chief at the Children´s Hospital of Michigan when Bonnie was Pediatrician-in-Chief. She was a remarkable enthusiastic leader who brought many innovations to the hospital. She was a good friend and neighbor in Grosse Pointe where sh was frequently seen running at any time of day. Children everywhere have lost an important advocate.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of this dear friend and incredible human being. I was fortunate to work with Bonnie on a couple of books and her generosity knew no bounds. Her work and ideas will continue. My thoughts are with her family.

I knew Bonny 6 years 7th-12th grade...the French advanced division, so called. But in her case, very advanced. Always looking to do more work, go farther in her studies. And she never stopped. The world needs more of her kind. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I am very saddened for the loss of Dr. Stanton. Rest in peace dear lady.

Fond memories of Bonnie from school days in North Haven. Lost track of her early on but will always remember how smart she was and dedicated to learning.
