Not sure what to say?

I still think about you, Bonnie. I miss our phone visits. As I continue to age and slow down more and more, I think more and more about great memories. Of all of my cousins, you and sister Barb stand out, by far. Your mom and dad were the kindest, most generous people. All of you shared your summer homes with us Passmores and with me, the most. Once I had a child, Luke, your folks were so very kind in wanting to meet him and treat him as family. Remember when your dad was preparing lobster...

Barb, my sister Maureen just told me about your sister Bonnie. I am very sorry for your loss. When I think of Bonnie, I see the most beautiful smile. Other than when we were annoying her (doing the little sister and her friends thing), she always seemed to have that smile on her face. I can picture her on that hockey field. She clearly loved the competition and always rose to the occasion. On a night that we were having a sleepover at your house, she made the most amazing green...

Uncle Bill and Aunt Babe had two daughters, almost a thousand miles away from us in Illinois, but every summer, when my two brothers and I were kids, we drove east with our folks to see their families, and we had the best of times with the Deckmans! We all dearly loved our "Mom-Mom," Etta Deckman, Bonnie's
paternal grandmother, my maternal grandmother, of Westmont. The Deckmans had a shore place where we swam and ate great meals of Jersey sweet corn and tomatoes. The best memories......

Sorry to hear this. I remember her so very well. A very competitive, but compassionate, athlete.

Barb I'am so sorry to have read of Bonnie's passing. I pass your child hood home many times and remember some really great times. Well once again just sorry and sending prayers. Nancy Furman

So sorry to read of your loss, may you find comfort from loving family and friends. God gives comfort and a hope. Soon, his promises tell us "no resident will say; I am sick". Deepest condolences.

It was difficult to make a choice when asked my relationship to Bonnie. Our fathers were best friends, so we grew up more as "cousins" than friends. The Deckmans and the Hardens shared holidays, vacations and so many wonderful memories they're almost too much to recall. Distance kept me from seeing Bonnie for many years, but we stayed in touch the best we could, mostly e-mails and the occasional phone call, but I had no idea that she had been ill and I'm sorry that I could not have been...

Aunt Bonnie will always be remembered as a fun and unique person and a die-hard Philadelphia sports fan! We love and miss her very much.
