Bonnie Lois Baker

I have just now learned (from Google) the sad news that Bonnie is no longer with us. She was my first "real" girlfriend - c.1948 when we were in the 7th/8th grade at North Junior High in Abilene, TX. I remember at our 20th Abilene H.S. class reunion (1974), we had a style show in which several of us were dressed in clothes from the '40s/'50s. I taught at Jackson Middle school with George, and my mom taught with Bonnie at O'Bannon Middle school. They were both such wonderful people.

Bonnie shaped and molded many lives. When she would speak in ladies class, it was with love and wisdom. She was the perfect mate for George and their love for each other was always evident. Her sweet smile would light up a room. Thankful she is now resting in the arms of Jesus. ❤
