Miss Bonnie was such an influential person to many young people such as myself. I began ballet to correct my over extended knees at 3 and danced all the way through college, including receiving a scholarship. I attribute so many successes to Miss Bonnie and she will forever be near and dear to my heart. My condolences are with her family.

My fond memories of "Miss Bonnie" date all the way back to the early and mid '50s when she, along with Miss Marsha, were the lead dancers in my ballet classes at the Judith Sproule School of Dance. She did Miss Judith proud carrying on the tradition of dance in Beaumont and she will be missed. God Bless her and her family. You will be in my prayers...

Miss Bonnie was such a lovely woman. I was so sad to hear of her death. It's hard to imagine nicer people than her and Jimmie -- they brought so much to Beaumont. Much love to the Cokinos clan in their time of loss.

Ms. Bonnie taught my son Jason Hallman in the 90's. I remember her as kind, strong, and strong willed. She was wonderful to my son and the others that attended her Dance school at the time. Her smile was genuine and warm. Because of her leadership and love of dance, she passed that on to my child and I will forever be grateful for that. My prayers are with the family and friends. Beaumont, the whole of Texas has lost a GREAT woman.
