Bonnie was a gem. She treated me like one of her kids. Her daughter Diane and I were/are dear friends both attending college in Kearney. She and Ed welcomed me into their lives and home. Bonnie was fun, spunky, and loved her family so very much. I loved her and she was a mom to me during my college days a long way from home. Bonnie was a fun, loving, passionate human that cared about serving the Lord & others until her last breath. In 2024 during my bout of colorectal cancer she texted me daily to cheer me up and to let me know she was praying for my healing. Bonnie supported me for two years while I was going to college at UNK by allowing me to rent a room from her in college. This was a big blessing.
