Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Getsinger was my third grade teacher at Sacred Heart School in Vineland, NJ approximately 58 years ago. She was Miss Bellamy to us in the beginning of the school year and then married.
One day she wrote a French prayer on the blackboard. “Toot por vu mon Jesu, toot por vu” I’m not sure if I have the spelling correct, but I still to this day say the prayer. I never forgot it.
Please pass this info to her family to let them know that Mrs. Getsinger is still in my heart and gave...

She was Miss Bellamy when I had her as my third grade teacher at Sacred Heart and it was her first year of teaching. I remember when she announced that she would be getting married and toward the end of the year, she became Mrs. Getzinger. She was beautiful and a wonderful teacher, and loved by her students. I saw her in church, years later as an adult in my fifties, and she remembered me. May she rest in peace, and let all of these memories be a comfort to her family. Anne O'Rourke-Gruman

Mrs. Getsinger was a beautiful caring person and a wonderful teacher. She was my second grade teacher at Sacred Heart Grammar School and showed me the true meaning of what of teacher is. One of the kindest people I have ever meant. God bless her and her family!

We are very sorry to learn of Bonnie's passing but grateful for her service to our nation with the Peace Corps in Bulgaria.

I can't help but notice that nearly all of these messages start with Ms.Getsinger was my favorite teacher. That does indeed say it all. Every student that had the privilege of knowing Bonnie Getsinger was certainly better for it. May God Bless You Ms. Getsinger. You were one of the good ones.

One of a kind! My favorite teacher at Sacred Heart -probably the reason I teach today. Rest in Peace

Mrs. Getsinger was my favorite teacher. I had her in second and fourth grade. We kept in touch over the years. I played the piano for her - she loved the New World Symphony. She had a special role in my family. I will miss her.

Ms. Getsinger was my favorite teacher and I was fortunate to have her for 2nd and 4th grade at Sacred Heart.
I'll never forget a class project where we made carrot cake from scratch, I loved it so much I have it every year for my birthday cake.
Rest in Peace.

Mrs. Getsinger was my favorite teacher at Sacred Heart Grammar School. I have so many wonderful memories of her class and she made learning fun for the second graders. My condolences to her family. Her legacy will on in her students.
