Bonnie Lou Velding

I went to school with Bonnie from fifth through 10th grades. I always remember her for her kindness and humor. Everybody felt liked by her. She just had that way. Two of my children attended Zoo school and they dearly loved Bonnie in her role at there. She made the entire experience so much better for them. I hope she and my son are getting reacquainted wherever they are right now. Bless you, Bonnie, for being so good to my kids.

Bonnie and I had the same boss for many years, Jerry Altena. We talked regularly. My condolences to the family. She was a great lady and will truly be missed!

My thoughts and prayers are with Pat, Donna, Deb, Don and the entire Velding Family. Bonnie was a very friendly, kind and caring person. Bonnie will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Bon & I didn't know each other that well, but I always thought she was a sweet, nice person, well loved by her family & friends. RIP Bonnie.

Miss Velding was a classy, fun teacher. I had her for a teacher when i was kindergarten at Lexington Public School. For sure one of my favorite teachers. Then years later i ran into her at the zoo in Grand Rapids. She attended my mom's funeral back in 1976. She will be missed. May she rest in peace.
