WILKERSON, Bonnie Howk, 61, of Manquin, went to be with the Lord December 28, 2012. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth N. Wilkerson Jr., of Manquin; two daughters, Jessica W. Rula (Charles), of Columbia, and Lisa M. Wilkerson, of Nashville, Tenn.; 11 siblings, Phyllis H. Young (Donald), of Old Church, Doris H. Kirby (Robert), of Atlanta, Ga., Douglas Howk (Iva), of Manquin, Betty H. Seal Anderson (Wayne), of Mechanicsville, Judy H. Rutledge, of Richmond, JoAnne H. Donahue, of Chula Vista, Calif., Francis H. Mullins (David), of Mechanicsville, Larry Howk (Crystal), of Manquin, Cheryl H. Griffin (Barry), of Mechanicsville, Robin H. Grubbs, of Mechanicsville, and Kenneth Howk (Ruth), of Chesterfield; and one granddaughter, Meredith Jean Rula, of Columbia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lena Howk; and one brother, Raymond Howk Jr., all of Mechanicsville. Viewing will be held 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2012 at B. W. White Funeral Home, in Aylett, Va. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Corinth Christian Church in Manquin, Va.

Beloved Howk and Wilkerson Family, Friends, and extended Relationships: With the New Year before us, it's a time for change, yet this shouldn't be. I find this as no mistake that for some unknown reason Bonnie was on my mind this morning. Just last week, I noticed her pix with the "GAL'S NIGHT OUT" from Sept., and was surprised to see her. Moments ago I was reading the Legacy of Times Dispatch, and found disbelief.
Could you only imagine the embrace when Bonnie and Jesus met face to face?...
