Duffy Family,

Dan, Upon looking for Boots on Facebook, I came upon her obituary. I feel so sad to hear of her passing. She was such a great friend and I will never forget the great times we had in Beaverton. God Bless, Jan

Dear Duffy family
My heart is saddened to hear that a lot of us lost a dear friend. I pray you all are well. I justs found out tonight when I was telling about being in the Hall of Fame & Googled to find the obits pop up. I love you all.
I am living in Hendersonville NC

Dan and Family, I was so sorry to hear that Boots had passed. Although we had lost contact in the passed years I have many happy memories of her and your family. One that comes to mind is when our pool exploded and all of the water went into your backyard washing all of your new barkdust up against the back of your house. Also either

Telling me that hustle and making a decision were the two most important traits of officiating - and, it turns out, in life. Then she was a friend, someone who...

Upon learning of Boots' passing the first thought that came to my mind was "What a great lady!". I met Boots when I served on the Portland Softball Board, and I had the first hand opportunity to see her dedication and enthusiasm for the softball community. I enjoyed her wry sense of humor and get it done attitude...truly one of the most unforgettable characters I've had the pleasure of knowing. She will be missed, and I join with her family in celebrating a life well lived. Sincerely, Ron...

To Dan and Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Boots has was a special friend, and though we didn't see a whole lot of each other since college days, the times we were together was always filled with laughter. Love you dear friend. Moma Escriva

Our thoughts are with the Duffy family. Boots would visit us at Progress Grocery(1986-2004), she was very outgoing and friendly. She will be missed.
