Not sure what to say?

Dear Shirley, my first time ever on this obit site and was very sorry to se Buk shown there. My sincerest condolences to you and your family. I always remembered the fried egg sandwiches he made on the spur of the moment. It was a long time ago when you lived North of Center Ave. We're all the age where when we wake up in the morning, we say "Thank you God for one more day".Hope everything is still well with you.

Wade & all the Lodewyks: I just learned of and am so sorry to hear of Mr. Lodewyk's passing. He was a true genuine man who always had a smile and a warm way about him. I have fond memories dating back to Northeast little League where he was running the show. j hope your lifelong memories helps ease your pain during this difficult time. Prayers are on the way.

I met Grandpa during the fireworks one summer and loved my visit. My prayers are with all Lodewyks. Ms. G.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Lodewyk family.

Our prayers are with the Lowdewyk family. I always looked forward to playing golf with Bourke and Brad when my dad and I played on the Elks golf league. Bourke was a great friend of our family. We will miss his welcoming smile and the fun times we had together. Rest In Peace our friend and Brother.

Dear Lodewyk family, I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss. I worked for the agency from 1970 to 1975 and we were certainly an extended family. I have thought of these times through the years and it always brings smiles. Love and healing prayers for all! Barb (Kinsey) Miller.

Shirley, Bruce, and families. I am saddened to learn of Bourke's passing. I was one of his Scouts in BSA Troop 7 and have held fond memories of those days over the years. To his credit I have remained active in Scouting to this very day within The American Legion. The two of us last met about 25 years ago. May the peace of God rest upon you all and help ease your sorrow.

Dearest Shirley and family. Our heartfelt condolences to you all. So sorry we can't be there with you but know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Bourke was a wonderful man and we enjoyed having him and Shirley next door at the lake even though it was only for a short time we will never forget him.

Most importantly, to Bourke's family, he will always be remembered as a gentleman and genuine good man! Secondly, he embraced every person that he had never, ever met before. Years and years ago, I was introduced to Bourke through several of his friends (Jerry Greenwood, Rod Adams and many others at the old Elk's Club). I never felt more comfortable among folks that I did not really know until that day. Any friend of Bourke's was immediately a friend of mine. Very amazing. RIP, B.E.E.
