Not sure what to say?

Dick was just visiting Colorado and I got this news. I am certainly sorry for your loss. Boyd commanded the athletics at the family picnics years ago. The eulogy describes my memories of him perfectly. It is tough that we are old and losing these good people. Keeping the fond memories alive in the stories keeps him with us just a little bit longer.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Candy, Rhonda, Mandy and family. His wonderful legacy will live on forever in your hearts. With deepest condolences, Anita, Joey, Angela, Jessica and Alyssa.

Another Golden Bedan gone. You will be missed, Dear Friend.

Boyd was my cousin and after my family moved away from Peru, I always enjoyed coming back during the summers, spending time at Freddie's creekside cabin, working pumping gas and washing windshields at his dad's gas station, helping Boyd on his paper routes, going to the local park swimming pool, and then going back to his house eating a big bowl of ice cream. Good childhood memories. Boyd was in our wedding but then we sort of lost contact except when we came back for funerals.

Boyd was a good guy who I remember from my year in LaSalle in 8th grade , then over to spring Valleyalthough a year ahead at St Bedes and LPO , Boyd competitiveness and dedication were well documented in this obit . Rest in Peace Boyd, Tom Whalen, Phoenix

A kind quiet man who was kind to all.

Dear McClain Family,
So sorry to hear of Boyd’s passing. He was our youth football coach in LaSalle in early 70’s. He coached the Chargers. He was a good kind man who us kids looked up to and learned from. He was fun to be around , I always remember the Jean shorts and beer distributor blue shirts. He made us kids feel good even when we were not that good. He was a great mentor for us on the team, I will never forget him. God Bless you all.
Sincerely,
Tony Baratta
