Brad Flinders

Every memory I have of my cousin, Brad, is happy and loving. He was so kind, and his eyes verified his humble personality and tender love for the Savior. I didn't see very much of him in our adult lives but I loved him for individual he is. I'll miss you more knowing you have gone to your heavenly home and I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace dear cousin, til we meet in our heavenly home.

I can still see and hear Brad laugh. Head back, big smile. We played the trumpet together for a couple of years at USU in the marching band, symphonic band, and jazz ensemble. Brad always got the solos because he could improvise in an instant. His music was so fluid and natural. Above all that, he was a good friend. Always positive. We've run into each other a few times in the past decades, and each time he was happy to stop, chat, and catch up. I always walked away feeling great. What a guy!
