Not sure what to say?

Sending light and love to my childhood friend and pen pal, Brad Funk. I pray for your family's comfort.

I went to school and church with Brad; I remember long talks about fighter jets and dances at the singles ward. After graduating I went into Special Operations Aviation with the 160th SOAR, I was there for more than 10 years. I often wondered how Brad was doing. I have lost so many friends over the years in flying mishaps. You are sorely missed brother!

Dear Lance, Cheryl, Amber and Clark- I remember when your family lost Dana... It feels like yesterday but it was so long ago. When I heard about Brad, I just could not believe it. All the feelings of loss and spent youth came pouring back into my head. You guys will always hold a special place in my life and in my heart. And Brad is there- as young, smart and strong willed as I remember him. I wish I could have known the man he grew to be. God bless you all. Anna

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Brad, but I attended Alconbury High School in England with Lance, Cheryl and Dana. I am so deeply sorry to hear about your loss. My prayers are with you all. God Bless.

Dear Bob & Mary Ann, Clark & Lisa, and Jenny and families,
Please accept our love and sympathy at this tender time. What a wonderful life he chose and we appreciate his service to our country. May the Lord's comforting spirit be with all of you.

To Brads family
We met Brad while he was serving his mission in Stevensville Montanta, we love him, he was such a wonderful missionary. He visited us often, he was so dedicated, he shared his love of his family, he loved his mother so much, but knew his step father was taking such good care of her. He called us from time to time, even when we moved back to West Jordan, Utah, he found us. He would let us know how he was doing, and when he was getting married. We were unable to attend his...

To the family: I was so sorry to hear of Brad’s death. I first met Brad in our Prescott singles branch where he asked if he could stay after church and practice singing with me. It was obvious he had a strong love of music, and within a year he was singing a duet in Sacrament meeting. In the following years, I came to understand his deep love for family and God. For such a tough guy, he has a real soft side. He was always willing to serve others and was anxious to share those things that...

Dear Craig: We are so sad to hear of Brad's death. We were in your ward in Prescott Valley, AZ when Brad was attending Embry Riddle, where our sister met him also. They became great friends for many years. Our family is so sad for your loss and we will be thinking of you this weekend.
