Brad S. Matheny, 44, of Leander, TX died Thursday, February 26, 2004 in Austin, TX. He was born on December 1, 1959 in Pittsburgh, PA to Albert and Evelyn (Houglan) Matheny and lived in Birmingham and Mobile, AL before moving to Texas. He was a graduate of the University of Texas and formerly worked at KRS Software. Surviving are his companion, Daryl Back of Leander, TX; mother, Evelyn Matheny of Rittman; father and step-mother, Albert and Eleanor Matheny of Ooltewah, TN; brothers, Greg Matheny of Boulder, CO, and Michael (Mary) Matheny of Jackson, MS; sisters, Karen L. Lubert of Moorestown, NJ, and Cheryl L. (Mark) Danielson of New Albany, IN; 3 nephews and 1 niece.
Services for the family will be held Monday at Gillman Funeral Home, Rittman with Rev. Richard A. Lapehn officiating. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Rittman Cemetery.
