Brad B. Parker, age 15, died Sunday afternoon, November 5, 2006, from an accidental shooting, near his home. Brad was born in Burlington October 10, 1991 son of Brian Parker arid Nancy (Sanders) Parker. He was a freshman at Missisquoi Valley Union High School and was employed in dairy farming on the Paul DellaBruierre Farm. At MVU, Brad was a mentor, on the Track Team and played Basketball. Brad enjoyed archery, hunting, fishing and had proudly shot his second deer, in his short life, on Saturday.

Brad is survived by his mother Nancy and step-father Todd Oliver of Highgate, his father Brian Parker and step-mother Anna Hall of Charlotte, sisters Brandy Parker, Michelle Oliver and Natalie Oliver all of Highgate. Also, a brother or sister anticipated next May. He leaves his maternal grandparents Marge Sanders of Swanton, Dean Sanders and his companion Honey of Hinesburg, paternal grandparents Kenneth and Nancy Ruggles of Monkton, Roger Parker, Sr. of Panton, Roland and Norma Oliver of St. Albans, great—grandmother Emma Blackmore of Essex Ctr., several aunts, uncles and cousins, including special cousins Ryan and Justin Parker, favorite friends Paul Martin of Swanton and John Dufresne of Highgate Springs.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 P. M. in Missisquoi Valley Union Gym. Friends may call at the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home, 86 South Main St., St. Albans, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday. Interment will follow the funeral in the Parker/Oliver family lot in St. Louis Cemetery in Highgate Center. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to send memorials to the Brad B. Parker Scholarship Fund, in care of Mr. Chaunce Benedict, MVU Principal, 100 Thunderbird Ave., Swanton, Vt. 05488.
